Terms of Service

Last updated: February 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PipeKit ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. PipeKit is currently in Beta, and features, pricing, and availability may change without prior notice.

2. Description of Service

PipeKit provides an iOS SDK and web dashboard that allows developers to capture and replay user sessions in their mobile applications. This includes video recordings, console logs, and network request data for debugging and user experience analysis.

3. Beta Service

PipeKit is currently offered as a Beta service. This means the Service is provided "as is" and may contain bugs, errors, or interruptions. We make no guarantees regarding uptime, data retention, or feature availability during the Beta period. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

4. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Record sensitive user data (passwords, payment info, health data) without proper consent and masking
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure
  • Use the Service to collect data from users without their knowledge or consent
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

6. Data and Privacy

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of PipeKit complies with all applicable privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and any other relevant data protection laws. You must obtain proper consent from your users before recording their sessions. See our Privacy Policy for more details on how we handle data.

7. Subscription and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time, and your subscription will remain active until the end of the billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial months. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. Free tier usage is subject to the limits described on our pricing page.

8. Data Retention

Session recordings and associated data are retained for 30 days from the date of capture, after which they are automatically deleted. Deleted data cannot be recovered. Account data is retained for as long as your account is active.

9. Intellectual Property

The PipeKit SDK is distributed under the MIT License. The Service (backend, dashboard, and infrastructure) remains the intellectual property of PipeKit. You retain all rights to your application data and session recordings.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PipeKit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the dashboard settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
